Sabrina Martucci Johnson

Sabrina Martucci Johnson is an independent consultant and was formerly the Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Cypress Bio science Inc., which was recently acquired by Royal Pharma, the industry leader in acquiring royalty interests marked in late stage bio pharmaceutical products. Her background includes both operations and strategic planning, with an emphasis on investor relations, capital formation and business development. Sabrina has designed complex financial models to evaluate and drive decision making, and has managed the selection and negotiation of numerous biotech and pharmaceutical partnerships. Prior to her management of Cypress Bio science, she was an Associate Project Manager for Advanced Tissue Sciences, where she created product positioning and developed promotional materials for new products for the treatment of burn patients. Sabrina was awarded a Master of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management, Thunderbird Campus, received a Master of Science degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University College London, London England, and attained a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, from Tulane University, where she serves on the Science and Engineering Board of Advisors. She is also a member of the Tau Beta Pi national engineering honor society.

Service to her community is important to Sabrina; she is a member of Women Give San Diego, a group that assists non-profit organizations in San Diego County that offer underserved women and girls the opportunity to become fully engaged in the prosperity of their local communities. She serves on the Audit Committee of Project Concern International and is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the CONNECT Springboard, a business and job creation program that provides hands-on mentoring for entrepreneurs. “I have been fortunate in my life and in my career to have incredible female mentors and I am passionate about helping girls and children,” said Sabrina. “The YWCA's programs and services for survivors of domestic violence and homelessness are critical programs that I want to help support and grow.”
