Clare Crane, who passed away in 2011, was a longtime supporter of the YWCA and a passionate advocate for the well-being and independence of women, especially those in our Becky’s House® Program for domestic violence survivors. Throughout her life, she created positive change by working with individuals to help them understand the issues facing women. Clare’s passion is shared by the YWCA of San Diego County and we want to keep her grace and strength with us. Therefore, we have created the Clare Crane Fund For Women at Risk. Contributions to this fund will help women break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness and achieve self-sufficiency.
Please give today to the Clare Crane Fund For Women at Risk to ensure that Clare’s work continues. Support for this fund means that thousands of women each year will be provided with emergency and transitional housing, therapy, case management, legal and employment assistance, and all of the encouragement and tools that they need to create positive change. In celebrating a life well served, please help us continue Clare’s work of empowering women.
